why does a gas stove produces a yellow flame which produces a black burn under a pot or pan?
A normal gas stove produces a blue flame from a regular LPG & does not leave a black burn under a pot or pan. When the flame became yellow in time, it marked a nasty burn under the pots or pan. These burns are messy to clean & needs a lot of effort & water to remove aside from the cleaning tools to use which we need to re-clean to remove the burns.
First clean out all the orifices of the burners than make a decision, either the cleaning didn't solve the problem or call the gas company, service people, whomever you use. The air gas mixture needs to be adjusted. You may have bumped them or, they've always been on the edge.
