Pot Roast recipe for Eye of Round with Cream of Mushroom Soup?
My Mom used to make a very simple pot roast. The ingredients consisted of just the meat (eye of round), cream of mushroom soup and potatoes. She cooked it in the oven-not a Slow Cooker-in a Corningware dish with lid on. My mom passed away just two months ago. I asked her for the recipe a couple of times but never wrote it down. What I need to know is whether or not she added water (I think she did) and at what temp and how long to cook-it was always so tender! I have searched the net far and wide and cannot find THIS recipe. I find several in slow cookers and with onion soup mix and everything else. While I am in no way opposed to those, it is just not what I am looking for. I want the simple one she made-so if you happen to know of this recipe please let me know. Until then I will experiment a little, but not much-eye of round is too expensive for me-we are chuck roast kind of ppl! Thank you so very much to anyone who can help!

Do it the same way as in the slow cooker, just cover it with foil and cook it at about 375 for a couple of hours more or less, depending on the size of the roast. Did that all the time before I got a slow cooker. Good luck!
Before I forget, add a bit of water if you need to. I never did.
