I suck at my new job 
Helpppppppppp!?
Ok, so I'm 15 and I just got hired at a local pizzeria. It's really not that hard of a job I suppose. I work the cash register, clean tables and bring out food but the thing is I can hardly understand what the owners say to me! There both Asian and can barely speak English. Plus, the Chef is like Italian and has an accent and I can hardly understand him either. This is my first job! I always feel really awkward because I'm just standing there not knowing what to do and they might try and joke around with me but I can't even really understand what there saying. I think they think I'm stupid because they always have to repeat themselves when its some type of easy task. Plus I've never worked a cash register before so I really had a nervous break down when there was like 34876798 people in line and I'm trying to write down orders while trying to work it for the first time. Is it always like this when you just get hired somewhere?? If so then why does it suck so much??? People are mean!
You are having anxiety issues which almost anyone has when they are trying to do a good job but have issues like language and new duties which you have little experience at. First Job!!! Dont sweat it. Learning any new skill takes time, even working a register or dealing with people. The fact that you are questioning if you are doing something wrong shows you are conscientious and trying to do the right thing. Every new job is difficult and requires some time to adjust to it. Your 15 and working, that says a lot. Hang in there, it will get easier.
